Why authorization is required

How to request approval

Alternatives if approval is denied

If your request is not accepted, the shared laundry facilities remain the standard solution. Some buildings have a booking system or specific time slots for use. While less convenient than having your own machine, these facilities are common across Geneva and Switzerland.

Having a private washing machine in your apartment can be very practical, but it always requires authorization. Making a respectful and well-prepared request gives you the best chance of success.
