2. Description of Services
Geneva Expat Solutions provides information, guidance, administrative support, relocation assistance, employee support services, HR support services, and related consulting services to individuals and organizations.
Services may include, but are not limited to:
- Relocation and settling-in support
- Guidance on housing, local administration, and day-to-day life in Geneva
- Assistance with navigating local procedures and services
- Employee support services for organizations
- HR support and administrative assistance for employers
- Customized support services upon request
- Services described on individual service pages and Knowledge Hub articles
Services are advisory and support-based in nature. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, Geneva Expat Solutions does not act on behalf of clients or organizations and does not provide legal, tax, immigration, financial, or regulated professional services.
3. Limitations of Service
- Not a legal, tax, immigration, financial, or real estate professional: services are provided for informational and support purposes only and do not replace advice from qualified professionals.
- No guarantee of outcomes: Geneva Expat Solutions does not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to successful applications, registrations, housing arrangements, employment-related outcomes, or agreements with third parties.
- Client responsibilities: clients remain responsible for verifying information, making decisions, signing agreements, submitting applications, and communicating with third parties.
- Third-party services: Geneva Expat Solutions is not responsible for the actions, decisions, availability, pricing, or performance of landlords, employers, government authorities, banks, insurers, service providers, partners, or other third parties.
- Employment and HR matters: while HR support services may involve assisting employees and supporting HR teams, Geneva Expat Solutions does not make employment decisions on behalf of client organizations and is not responsible for hiring decisions, disciplinary actions, compensation decisions, terminations, employment contracts, immigration approvals, payroll administration, or compliance with employment laws.
- Availability: while every effort will be made to respond promptly, response times are not guaranteed unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Pricing and Payments
- Fees: fees are communicated on the relevant service page, Knowledge Hub article, proposal, quotation, invoice, or other written agreement provided to the client.
- Payment methods: I accept payments via credit card, debit card, Twint, Klarna and other methods as specified. The payments are processed by Stripe. I also accept payments via bank transfers.
- Billing: payments must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late payments: outstanding balances may be subject to additional fees.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the service purchased and any specific conditions stated on the relevant service page, Knowledge Hub article, proposal, quotation, invoice, or written agreement.
- Unless otherwise stated, clients may cancel a purchased service within 48 hours of payment for a full refund, provided that no work has commenced and no service has been delivered.
- Once work has commenced, a service has been delivered, or digital content has been provided, refunds are no longer available.
- Subscription-based services such as HR Support may be cancelled according to the cancellation terms communicated in the relevant agreement or service description.
- Geneva Expat Solutions reserves the right to assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis where exceptional circumstances apply.
6. Service-Specific Terms
Certain services may be subject to additional terms, conditions, pricing, eligibility requirements, usage periods, cancellation policies, or service limitations. Such terms will be communicated on the relevant service page, Knowledge Hub article, proposal, quotation, invoice, or written agreement and shall form part of these Terms.
HR support services provided to organizations are subject to a separate written agreement between Geneva Expat Solutions and the client organization. In the event of any conflict between the Terms of Service and a client-specific agreement, the client-specific agreement shall prevail.
Subscription-Based Services
Certain services may be provided on a recurring subscription basis. While Geneva Expat Solutions aims to respond promptly to requests received during normal business hours, no guaranteed response time, service-level agreement (SLA), or continuous availability is provided unless expressly agreed in writing.
Templates and Digital Resources
Templates, guides, documents, and other digital resources are provided for personal or internal business use only unless otherwise stated. Redistribution, resale, sharing, or commercial exploitation without permission is prohibited.
Knowledge Hub
The Knowledge Hub is provided for informational purposes only. While reasonable efforts are made to keep information accurate and up to date, all content is provided “as is” without warranties or guarantees of completeness, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose.
7. Client Conduct
Clients are expected to provide truthful information and engage with my services respectfully. I reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior.
8. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Geneva Expat Solutions, including but not limited to articles, guides, templates, documents, resources, service descriptions, graphics, and website content, remains the intellectual property of Geneva Expat Solutions unless otherwise stated.
Such content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, republished, sold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Geneva Expat Solutions provides guidance, information, and support services based on information available at the time services are provided.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geneva Expat Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of its services.
Clients remain solely responsible for their decisions, actions, applications, contractual agreements, and communications with third parties.
Liability for events outside the reasonable control of Geneva Expat Solutions is expressly excluded.
10. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Geneva, Switzerland.
11. Changes to These Terms
I reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or website announcement.
