For employers
Relocation agencies help your hire move in. I help them actually live here.
The Geneva Roadmap is a personalized plan for each international hire: every official step, a plain-language guide, and a ready-to-send document, in one place. Behind it, a real person your people can ask, as often as they need. You offer it as a benefit, and your HR team stops fielding the same cantonal-admin questions on repeat.
is one relocation agency case: one hire, moved in, over about three weeks. For the same order of magnitude, GES covers ten people for a year, and keeps covering them for the years after the agency has gone.
The problem HR actually has
Every hire arrives with the same questions
Geneva runs on cantonal paperwork, and it does not slow down for someone who just landed. That load lands on the people who hired them, and it keeps coming back for years.
The same questions, every time
Which commune, which permit, the LAMal deadline, the deposit, tax at source. Every arrival asks, and someone answers from scratch.
Informal answers are a risk
Quick HR advice on permits or tax that turns out slightly wrong becomes the company’s problem. Sourced answers are safer.
Agencies hand over and leave
A relocation agency helps someone move in over a few weeks, then leaves. GES is built for everything that comes after.
What your people get
One personalized plan for the whole stay
Your employee answers a few questions once. GES builds their Geneva Roadmap and keeps it current, for every year they stay, not just the move.
A timeline, not a folder
This week, the next thirty days, before you leave. Every step dated, tickable, and explained in plain language.
Unlimited documents
Every step that needs a letter links to a Swiss-format document, pre-filled and ready. On a seat, all of them, unlimited.
A real person behind it
A short onboarding call (about 20 minutes) per arrival, plus a dashboard walkthrough for HR. Full support is covered below.
What you are actually paying for
A real person, not a support ticket
A checklist can tell someone what to do. Getting them through it, when a form is confusing or their situation does not quite fit the guide, takes a real person who has done this before. Every paid plan includes that, unlimited within fair use. It is the product; the rest of this page is what makes it fast and consistent.
WhatsApp, email or Teams
Whichever your people already use day to day. No ticketing system to learn.
Answers, not tasks
Unlimited questions, and I will walk you through any step. Filing and signing stay with you.
Usually within 1 business day
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm Geneva time. Weekends are reserved for genuinely urgent issues.
The honest question
Isn’t a lot of this free? Yes. Here is what a seat adds.

Help shape it, and hold your rate for five years
The first three companies on board get founding terms: a genuine say in the product, and a rate that holds while everyone else’s moves with inflation. The price below is already the founding one.
- 20% off, CHF 2'400 a year instead of CHF 3'000, including up to 10 people, and CHF 240 per person above that.
- Rate locked for 5 years, as long as you keep renewing without a gap. After that, your rate stays 20% below the standard price of the day, permanently, for as long as you keep renewing.
- A say in what gets built next. The gaps your team actually hits go to the top of my list, and I tell you what shipped because of you.
If you are happy to be named as a founding partner I would value it, but it is not a perk and it is never a condition of the price. Say no and nothing changes.
The offer
One subscription, and a real person behind it
Unlimited fair-use support for everyone on the plan, answered by me. Around that: the Roadmap, unlimited documents, and a short onboarding call (about 20 minutes) for every arrival. Annual billing, no per-employee expense claims.
Unlimited fair-use support for every one of them, answered usually within one business day. Everything else on this page exists to support that.
As your team grows
- Rate locked5 years
- People 11 to 25CHF 240 each
- 26 to 50CHF 220 each
- More than 50Let’s talk
Standard rate after the first three partners: CHF 3'000, then CHF 300 / 275 per person above ten. Your rate is fixed for the year you pay; any change applies only at renewal, with at least 90 days’ notice.
Prefer no personal support? Employer Light is available from CHF 1’080/year.
Bringing fewer than six people a year? Individual subscriptions at CHF 500 each work out cheaper, and I would rather say so than sell you the wrong plan. Compare the plans.
How it works in practice
Three steps, and almost none of them are yours
The most common question after “is it any good” is “what does this actually cost my team to run.” Very little, by design.
You get one invite link
A single link and code for your company. Nothing to install, no accounts for you to create, no list of names to send me.
Your people claim their own place
Each new arrival opens the link, enters their work email, and their Roadmap is ready. They do it themselves, so HR is not in the middle of it.
A place frees up when someone leaves
You are paying for capacity, not for named individuals. When someone moves on, that place returns to the pool for your next hire.
Security and privacy
Their data stays in Switzerland, and stays theirs
Built for a compliance-minded buyer. This is not just a promise: it was designed for privacy and data security from the ground up.
Swiss residency, encrypted at rest
Hosted in Switzerland (Infomaniak). Personal answers are encrypted at rest.
In plain terms: the data sits scrambled in the database. On its own, a copy of that database, such as a stolen backup, is unreadable, because the key that unlocks it is kept separately, outside the database itself.
No passwords to leak
Sign-in is a one-time magic link by email. No password is stored, so there is none to steal.
In plain terms: a single-use link that signs them in, then expires. Nothing to reuse, forget, or breach.
Totals only, never personal answers
Your dashboard shows adoption counts and seat status. It never shows an employee’s answers, documents, or activity. That line is absolute.
Their data, their control
Anyone can export or delete their account, themselves, at any time. Deletion is immediate, and nothing is removed automatically while the account exists. Aligned with Switzerland’s revised data-protection law (the FADP).
Why trust this to a small provider
Not a faceless platform. One person, accountable, who knows Geneva.

Hi, I’m Samuel. I built Geneva Expat Solutions because I lived the international-move maze myself, and could not find one honest, up-to-date place that told you what to do, and in what order.
I know the situations your hires arrive in. I most recently worked as Facilities & Logistics Coordinator at EFTA, focused on supporting expats, and before that as HR Coordinator at CERN, where I supported over 200 PhD researchers from around the world.
This did not appear last week. Since early 2025 I have built a Knowledge Hub of 65+ Geneva guides and a Toolkit of Swiss-format letters. The Roadmap sits on that. Because it is me behind it, the content stays current and support is answered by someone who knows the answer.
“He became the primary point of contact for staff relocation, housing, social security, taxation, insurance and other administrative requirements associated with settling in and leaving Geneva… He is responsible, efficient and reliable in his work, with a high degree of professionalism and service-mindedness.”
Samuel Chopard · Founder, Geneva Expat Solutions
The question you are too polite to ask
“And what if you stop?”
A fair question for any small provider. Your risk is capped, in writing.
If GES ever winds down
- Prepaid but unused time is refunded pro-rata. You never lose money for coverage you did not get.
- Your people keep their data. Everyone can export their own information, which is then securely deleted.
- You get advance notice and a wind-down grace period, so nothing is cut off overnight.
Let’s see whether it’s right for your team
A short call, no obligation. Tell me how many people you relocate a year and where the friction is, and I will tell you honestly whether GES is worth it for you.
