About Me

Hello and welcome! As a local with extensive experience working alongside expats, I’m excited to share my story and insights about my journey!

Nice to meet you, I’m Samuel.

Growing up in Geneva, I’ve always felt connected to the city — from its international, multicultural vibe to the iconic Jet d’Eau lighting up the night. Like many, I love to travel and explore new cultures, but some of my best moments are spent right here, whether it’s enjoying a beer by the lake in summer or a cozy fondue at Bains des Pâquis in winter. I also have a passion for drone photography and cars, finding any excuse to hit the open road and discover new places.

My international experience also gives me a unique understanding of the challenges expats face. After spending three years living in São Paulo (Brazil), I learned how difficult it can be to start fresh in a new culture. That experience fuels my dedication to making Geneva feel like home for others. I genuinely enjoy helping people and believe in using my experience to make life easier for my clients, it’s a core part of who I am, and it’s why I’m excited to support expats in their transitions. On a professional level, I bring years of experience assisting international professionals. In my previous role as an HR Coordinator at CERN, I supported over 200 PhD students coming from all around the world.

In my current role as Facilities and Logistics Coordinator at the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), I have a wide range of responsibilities, but my main focus is providing support to expats. I help them manage their move and, most importantly, I serve as a point of support throughout their entire time in Geneva. I want you to feel informed, confident, and at ease in your new life here, knowing you have someone to turn to whenever you need guidance. In my free time, you might catch me winding up a nearby mountain pass or enjoying a tasty meal at a local restaurant. I look forward to helping you navigate your journey in Geneva. Feel free to take a look at my profile on LinkedIn and connect with me.
